    We only make a commission charge on any new bookings you accept from us.  We take care of all the administration including collecting payments, and we pay you as soon as the full payment is received for the booking, which is usually 8 weeks before the holiday start date.

    Your Questions Answered

    Q. What rental income can I expect?

    This would depend upon the location of your property, the number of bedrooms and facilities available nearby.  Why not contact us for a free rental assessment.

    Q. How and when do I get paid?

    The condition of all our bookings is that the full balance is payable 8 weeks before the booking commences, and we will pay you upon receipt of this final balance, we do not hold back payments.  Our policy is to pay the property owner upon receipt of the final balance.

    You choose how you want us to pay you - this is usually bank transfer or cheque.

    Q. How soon could you market my property? 

    Once you have decided to join Select Holiday Rentals your property details including photos could be included onto our website within 48 hours, and full details will be circulated to our database of clients.

    Our ongoing marketing campaigns include the major search engines Google, Yahoo, MSN etc, mini brochures are produced throughout the year, local tourist guides and various welsh publications.

    Q. Can I take my own bookings?

    Yes of course you can, it's your holiday home - you tell us the periods you don't want to make it available for us to let.  This can include when you want to use the property yourself, or you have friends and family using it, or indeed you have taken a booking yourself.  All we ask is that you advise us as soon as you know the property isn't available for let so that we can keep our calendars up to date.

    Q. How do I prepare my property, and what to include?

    Here at Select we require all our properties to be presented to the highest standard for all our guests, and this includes being spotlessly clean with all furniture and furnishings being of good quality and all appliances in good working order.  All outside areas including patios and garden areas must be well maintained.  We would suggest that you supply duvets and pillows for all of the beds, and guests to bring their own duvet covers, pillow cases and all towels.

    Q. What about weekly cleaning?

    We can supply a high standard cleaning and changeover service at an extra cost, or owners can arrange their own cleaning and changeovers for new guests if they wish to to so, providing the property is presented to the highest standard at each changeover.

    Q. Who will look after and maintain my property?

    Some property owners prefer to maintain their own properties, or know a local person who can take care of any general maintenance which might be needed.  Alternatively we can appoint a local tradesman if and when needed on your authority.
